I've been working hard these past few months to get things set up to provide services for you, and the same week that I got things squared away, the shelter-in-place order was set here in Ohio. So, after a couple of weeks to let the dust settle in my brain, I'm doing a quick pivot and getting ready to serve you digitally. While it's not what I expected, I'm excited to step up and provide support during such a tumultuous time.
Please check out the Services and Products page for a newly updated listing of what is now available. I'd love to help you find a little bit of peace and confidence, even in this new normal.
Beyond Measure is thrilled to begin offering programming at She Collective in Cleveland. From their website,
"She Collective is the brainchild of Samantha Walters, with constant inspiration from the thriving communities of birth workers, movement gurus, and activists in Cleveland. Through her work as a doula, lactation consultant and sexual health educator, Sam has witnessed the immense strength and resiliency of women and girls. But she also always noticed that there seemed to be a tiny seed of self-doubt, an internal questioning and searching about what it means to be a woman in today’s society.
She Collective is meant as a space for women and girls to explore that sense of self-doubt, that disconnection from their bodies, and to discover new and powerful ways to connect with themselves through their bodies. Through yoga + movement, retreats + adventure, community + education, we hope to give all women and girls in Cleveland the space and the opportunities to learn about themselves in new ways and to become the presiding geniuses of their own bodies."
Jacklyn will be facilitating an hour long monthly support group for women at She Collective called Rhythm of Life. Each month we will use percussion instruments and our voices to explore various aspects of living as women today, to foster empowerment, and to build meaningful connections. Every month can be a standalone class, and absolutely no music experience is necessary! The cost per month is $25.00.
The first meeting of Rhythm of Life will be on June 28, beginning at 7:00. Please click here to sign up!
